Future's so bright...

Nutshell: Worked all day. Had a crisis: Gwen's focus medicine ran out totally and the doctor's office as closed for 2 weeks for vacation. A client with connections got me my prescription. Blessed be my clients! Ran errands with Gwen. Randy still out of town.

I had a client say the nicest thing to me today. She said that when she comes in she counts on me being invisible to her. A mirror. I have worked for years to disappear for my clients, so they saw only themselves reflected in me. Wow! I'm cool! She said that after she called me on my countertransference with her (I love having therapists as clients--they are the best and this one, as raw as she is, is a diamond in the rough).

I talked to the director of the seminary I am applying to and was suitable impressed by his easy going manner and professionalism. He is a reiki master and got after me when I used "only" in reference to my second level status. We chatted for about 20 minutes and he answered all of my questions. Apparently the first year is all about one's own spiritual journey: defining it, deepening it, and making it into a coherent,transmitable narrative. The 2nd year is about the hows of ministry--wedding ceremonies, baptisms, etc. Cool! He wants me to send in my application (and money) immediately becasue he wants to interview me in a couple of weeks when he is in LA to visit family on vacation. I'm thrilled! I am excited to say the least.
